Veronica, Giovanni and Martina attended the 7th Brazilian Conference on Composite Materials in Brasilia (July 14th to 17th 2024) as members of the International Scientific Committee.
Giovanni gave a keynote lecture regarding the experimental assessment and environmental implications of the percolation threshold in particulate/short fiber (bio)composites. This work is carried out in the framework of the GREENCO project, together with our colleagues at the Institute for Polymers, Composite and Biomaterials of the National Research Council of Italy in Catania. Martina gave a talk on the first results of the CO2@thermophotocat project on chitosan-based (nano)composite aerogels for CO2 adsorption.
