GREENCO aims at untapping the huge potential of green composites, whose exploitation is currently prevented in many industrial sectors because of unsatisfactory performance. Another problem with green composites concerns their actual environmental sustainability, which is still far from being proven. GREENCO addresses both these aspects in unison, aiming at learning how to design and produce optimized green composites with a balanced trade-off between technical performance and environmental impact.
